#wevegotyourback

Hey Medina Supermoms (both expecting and new)-  We are thrilled to have teamed up with Sew Much Happens – Sewing Academy / Embroidery Center – Medina, Ohio  to help kick-off our #wevegotyourback project!

Owner Kris Carbone of the new sewing academy in Medina, so generously embraced our mission and taught us how to make our first batch of 100 handmade burp cloths sewn with love, friendship and a sprinkle of superpower!  We hope this small token will serve as a reminder to all you supermoms (and moms to be) that on behalf of the MECPTA, #wevegotyourback!

Be on the lookout, as you may just be handed one at Target, Aldi, the library, your OB or pediatric office, or just in passing with your little one in tow!  Several are also being donated to the Medina County Health Department’s breastfeeding support group and to Oasis of Hope.

We hope this small gesture gives a lift in your day and most importantly serves as a reminder that you are not alone. We get it.  We’re a village of moms here to extend support and remind you that you’ve got this!

If you happen to receive a burp cloth and want to tag us, we’d love to see where they travel around Medina County!  If you’d like to join a league of other supermoms, check out our website: http://www.medinaecpta.org

Thank you Kris Sew Much Happens – Sewing Academy / Embroidery Center – Medina, Ohio for helping us make this happen!  Be sure to check out her classes for students as young as age 7 and up!

And a huge thanks to the six awesome Medina High School student volunteers from the Girls Leadership Program that helped us make our first 100!
